We start from the center of Athens and your hotel. It is a short drive to Piraeus port to board the commercial high-speed pickup that will take us to Hydra island within (approximately) two hours and usually via Poros island too. The great views from within the fast passenger boat trip will allow you to see many small and bigger islands of the Saronic Gulf surrounded by the amazing and hard-to-believe blue water.
Hydra island is a great relaxing but cosmopolitan alternative to the craziness of Mykonos and Santorini! The hiding place of many recent celebrities but also from the past including Jacky Kennedy & Onassis, John Lennon, Maria Kalas, Sophia Loren, and many more.
Depending on your pace, energy, and available time, you will explore Hydra’s highlights such as :
☼ Statue of A.Miaoulis

☼ Merchant Marine Academy

☼ Monastery of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary.
☼ Walk from Hydra port along the coastline to Kaminia port and back to Hydra town/port around the back streets.

☼ The Lazaros Kountouriotis Museum.

☼ Square of the Five Hydriot Prime Ministers & Rafalias Pharmacy.

☼ Sophia Loren’s windmill.

[This is only a draft itinerary]
There are limitless places next to the water for enjoying lunch, drinks, coffee, and/or dessert before we ride the boat to return to Piraeus port and then to your Athens accommodation.
Are you ready for a day next to the amazing blue and for an authentic experience?
☼ Private tour for one or up to eight related only people.
☼ Hotel pickup and drop-off.
☼ Private driver to transfer you to the port and then back to your hotel.
☼ Private tour leader to guide you while exploring the island.
☼ In-car bottled water & information booklet about all the details of the tour.
☼ Flexible itinerary.
The tour is operated with our private cars for your transfer from Athens to the port. We use commercial fast boats to travel to the island for which we pre-book your tickets to secure seats. We do not provide a private yacht!
☼ Pickup and drop-off in areas outside of Athens (additional cost).
☼ Boat return tickets are approximately 80 EUR/person which we pre-book for you to secure seats and you pay for on the day of the tour. This pricing can change and we follow the pricing of the commercial boat company.
☼ Lunch & drinks. Your guide will suggest the best options to enjoy lunch, snacks, or drinks depending on your food preferences.
☼ Gratuities (optional).
Total pricing for 2 persons is €480 (not per person). If you are a solo traveler, we will provide a small discount.
For larger groups of up to 8 related only people (couples, groups of friends, or large families), please get in touch with us to get the best rate depending on the exact number of people and their age group. All our vehicles are brand new. For example and subject to availability, if 1 to 3 or 4 people, a typical large four-door 2022 vehicle will be used, whereas, for 3 or 4 to 8 people, a large 2021 minivan will be used for the trip.
PS. Payments made by Paypal are subject to an additional cost of 5%-6% (the approximate fee that Paypal charges on all transactions), and prices by Amex are subject to an additional 2.80%-3%, which the client must pay to Eudaimonia on the day of the booked tour. There is no extra charge if you pay by any other credit card.
☼ This is a tour you can also organize by yourself and we’ll tell you how! We will cost you more because you pay us to plan & organize everything for a worry-free day, transfer you from and to your hotel and guide you while on the island. OR, you need to plan your transfer from your Athens hotel to the port of Piraeus, pre-book and pay for your return boat tickets to Hydra, and of course self-explore the island. Both ways, you’ll enjoy Hydra!
☼ If you decide to take on our tour, remember that children must be accompanied by an adult.
☼ Due to uneven surfaces, this tour is not suitable for people with walking disabilities or using a wheelchair.
☼ If canceled due to bad weather or any other extreme situation, you will be given the option of an alternative date or a full refund.

(C) Special client-specific arrangements/agreements:

Then, these client-specific agreements will precede any other interpretations made from this cancellation policy, and it is only at Eudaimonia’s discretion to refund fully, partly, or not at all, even under certain conditions including “Force Majeure”. Therefore, it is the specific written (email) agreement between each client and Eudaimonia that can only precede this main cancellation policy -if it is different- and determines the agreed cancellation policy for each client.
D) Other issues:

Eudaimonia reserves the right to change or cancel your booking in accordance with operating requirements or circumstances beyond its control. Should change and/or cancellation prove necessary we will give you reasonable notice thereof, in the circumstances, & where available, offer you a comparable alternative. If an alternative is not available or acceptable you will be entitled to either a full refund or monies paid by you to us or you can transfer to another Eudaimonia tour without payment of any transfer fee.
Eudaimonia encourages all clients to communicate as early as possible concerning cancellation issues which can allow the agency to offer a better refund – partial or full- to a client despite the standard policy described in this document. This is a decision to be made entirely by Eudaimonia in an effort to better serve the client.
Eudaimonia itineraries are flexible, and if possible, the requirements of clients will be facilitated. Eudaimonia reserves the right to vary, modify or cancel any itinerary, either partly or wholly. Itineraries published are sample itineraries only and may be amended without notice. Eudaimonia also reserves the right to use alternative vehicles to those advertised.

Dietary requirements must be requested from clients and forwarded at the time of booking or at least one week before the tour.
Bookings can only be used by the client/s to whom the booking was initially arranged; no other person can use the booking in any circumstances.
