Greece is a healing place! Will you be ready for it?

Greece is a healing place, but only for the visitor who can avoid being a typical tourist. Healing isn’t a modern concept here. The Sanctuary of Asclepius at Epidaurus [the tour] was one of the world’s earliest wellness centers—focused on sleep, dreams, nature, and theatre. Even today, many people say these places feel quietly powerful rather than performative.

Greece is a healing place, but only for the visitor who can avoid being a typical tourist.

  1. You must avoid the tourist traps
  2. the touristy food & drink
  3. the pretentious services of the “must-see” places
  4. the “crazy-busy” islands such as Santorini & Mykonos.
  5. And of course, spend no more than 1-2 nights in Athens!

  1. The mountains and the coastline that do not end
  2. The Peloponnese region
  3. The central/north region of Greece, with the amazing villages
  4. The lesser-known or smaller islands (look for “Small Cyclades”, Amorgos, Folegandros, Skiathos, Hydra, and many more)
  5. The people with their no-strings-attached hospitality and unique authenticity
  6. The food and drink (for some is the main reason to visit)
  7. The magical evenings with the locals, creating a special vibe
  8. THE REAL GREECE

Greek culture allows:

  • long conversations

  • expressive emotions

  • lingering meals

  • rest without guilt

Olive oil, vegetables, wild greens, seafood, and bread are eaten slowly and socially. The Greek approach to food isn’t about restriction—it’s about pleasure + nourishment, which is healing in its own right. Have fun!
