Booking Payment: Elaine & Natalie – 13Day Custom Tour of Peloponnese & Delphi – April 30, 2025

€6,110

Dear Elaine & Natalie.

This concerns your 50% booking payment for your 13-day Custom Tour of the Peloponnese & Delphi. The total price is 12,220 EUR, and the 50% booking payment is 6,110 EUR. As discussed, the final cost can vary to accommodate your request for a large enough double bed or two beds. This can make a “small” cost difference for some hotel nights if we book a larger room with a double AND a single bed OR two completely separate rooms.

This is the agreed itinerary of this 13-day/12-night private tour from Wed. April 30 to Mon. May 12, 2025:

Day 1: Wed. April 30: Cross the Corinth Canal (short stop), Ancient Corinth, the Nemea wine area & Wine tasting (option), Mycenae site & museum, finish at Nafplio town.
>> Overnight: Nafplio town (1 of 3 nights).

Day 2: Thu. May 1: From Nafplio to Ermioni village, catch the small boat to do a 30-minute crossing to Hydra Island. Explore Hydra Island. Back to the mainland to return to Nafplio Town.
>> Overnight: Nafplio town (2 of 3 nights).

Day 3: Fri. May 2: Nafplio Old Town and Port. Epidaurus Theater. Palamidi Fortress and walk down the 999 steps. Explore Nafplio Old Town and Port in the evening.
>> Overnight: Nafplio town (3 of 3 nights).

Day 4: Sat. May 3: Drive along the coastline of the East Peloponnese and then the Parnon mountain range. Stops at Tyros village, Leonidio town, Elonis monastery, Kosmas mountain village (lunch) and Monemvasia. Explore Monemvasia in the evening (on your own).
>> Overnight: Monemvasia Castletown (1 of 2 nights).

Day 5: Sun. May 4: From Monemvasia to Gerakas port and then to Kyparissi village. Return to Monemvasia.
>> Overnight: Monemvasia Castletown (2 of 2 nights).

** I have requested the above 3 & 2 hotel nights during the “Greek” long weekend… to see what happens!

Day 6: Mon. May 5: From Monemvasia to the Mani Peninsula. Diros Caves, Gerolimenas/Limeni coastline villages, Vatheia abandoned tower town, Cape Tainaron, Areopolis town (lunch). Drive to Sparta and Mystras.
>> Overnight: Mystras (1 of 3 nights).

Day 7: Tue. May 6: Visit Mystras Castletown (plenty of walking to explore), Sparta to visit the Olive Oil Museum, King Leonidas statue, and Olive Oil shopping (option)
>> Overnight: Mystras (2 of 3 nights).

Day 8: Wed. May 7: From Sparta to Ancient Messene and back to Sparta to explore the Mystras village.
>> Overnight: Mystras (3 of 3 nights).

Day 9: Thu. May 8: Drive from Sparta to Ancient Olympia to visit the site and the Museum. Then, drive to the Arcadia mountain village, where you will stay overnight.
>> Overnight: at one of the Arcadia mountain villages (1 of 2 nights).

Day 10: Fri. May 9: Explore the cliff-hanging monasteries and villages. Visit the Water Power Museum. All are locally accessible, with limited driving. Explore the village we overnight in.
>> Overnight: at one of the Arcadia mountain villages (2 of 2 nights).

Day 11: Sat. May 10: Breakfast and a one-hour drive to the Cave of Lakes, then Kalavrita town (lunch) to catch the Odontotos Rack Railway. Cross the Rion suspended bridge to leave the Peloponnese and head towards Delphi (next-day visit).
>> Overnight: Not at touristy Delphi but at the coastline village of Galaxidi (1 of 2 nights), where you can enjoy the evening walks by the water.

Day 12: Sun. May 11: Visit the Delphi site and Museum [with unlimited time, which you need since the site is a climb!!]

>> Overnight: Galaxidi (2 of 2 nights)

Day 13: Mon. May 12: Visit Itea coastline village, Delphi village, Arachova village, and the Hosios Loukas Unesco monastery before returning to Athens.

>> Overnight: Not included.

SERVICE FEE: Finally, a service fee of 9% (of the total amount agreed) will also be deducted from any refundable amount, including the 60-day full refund case. This corresponds to the time spent on the client’s booking.

(b) Cancellation Policy for multi-day tours (at least one night stay/overnight or more):

☼ Cancellations made greater than 90 days before the scheduled tour date will be fully refunded minus expenses and services fees, as mentioned below.

(c) Special client-specific arrangements/agreements & cancellation policy:

There may be client-specific payments & bookings (full or partial) agreed upon through e-mail communication mentioned -for example- as “non-refundable” or different from the main cancellation policy “refund dates”. Then, these client-specific agreements will precede any other interpretations made from this main cancellation policy. Therefore, it is the specific written (email) agreement between each client and Eudaimonia that can only precede this main cancellation policy -if it is different- and determines the cancellation policy for each client.

(d) Other issues:

Eudaimonia reserves the right to make subtle changes to tour itineraries. Eudaimonia reserves the right to substitute vehicles and/or drivers should they arise. Eudaimonia reserves the right to change or cancel your booking without any penalties beyond offering a full refund. Should change and/or cancellation prove necessary we will give you -if possible- reasonable notice & where available, offer you a comparable alternative. If an alternative is not available or acceptable you will be entitled to a full refund.

Eudaimonia encourages all clients to communicate as early as possible concerning cancellation issues which could allow the agency to offer a better refund – partial or full- to a client despite the standard cancellation policy described in this document. This is a decision not to be discussed with or disputed by the client and will be made entirely by Eudaimonia to better serve the client if it is possible.

Eudaimonia itineraries are flexible, and if possible, the requirements of clients will be facilitated.  Eudaimonia reserves the right to vary, modify, or cancel any itinerary, either partly or wholly.  Itineraries published are sample itineraries only and may be amended without notice. Eudaimonia also reserves the right to use alternative vehicles to those advertised.

Eudaimonia is not responsible for the costs of any other travel arrangements affected due to our cancellations or rescheduling of any tour departure.

Bookings can only be used by the client/s to whom the booking was initially arranged; no other person can use the booking in any circumstances.

The client will be asked to produce a valid photo and/or passport number identification.

(e) Force Majeure

It is only at Eudaimonia’s discretion to refund fully, partly, or not at all if a customer cancels under certain conditions including even “Force Majeure”. Eudaimonia strongly recommends that the client purchase travel insurance.

The Client agrees to all the above when booking any of Eudaimonia’s tours and services.

Many thanks to Rocher Bros for the great video footage of the amazing Meteora monasteries, and to Around the Rings for the Ancient Olympia ceremony video.
